Assistant Vice President and Loan Operations Specialist
“I love being part of a small community and a community bank where people are still individuals and not just a customer number or an unfamiliar face. I am thrilled to have joined Liberty Bank, where I can share my expertise and knowledge about the back-room functions relating to loans to help customers meet their financial needs.”
Angie joins Liberty Bank after climbing the ranks over the past 19 years at another Washington state small community bank. She started as a teller at Islanders Bank in Friday Harbor, Wash., moved into loan administration and worked as a consumer and home loan officer before taking on the role of assistant vice president, loan administration. “Having been a lender helped me hone my writing skills and analysis of financial information, as well as giving me great insight into the lending process and the life of a loan from beginning to end,” she said. “I have always worked best in an environment where I can see the big picture and enjoy problem solving, process improvements, and timely completion of tasks.” A resident of Friday Harbor who is in the process of moving to Poulsbo, Angie received training in mortgage, commercial and consumer lending from the American Bankers Association. She is fluent in German and in her spare time volunteers with the American Legion and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband.
