MaryDennise brings more than 25 years of experience in banking to her new role as First Vice President and Bank Operations Officer at Liberty Bank. She has focused much of her career on overseeing operations and regulatory compliance. After starting in community banking in southern California, MaryDennise began specializing in startup banks. She helped open Ohana Pacific Bank in Honolulu before coming to Washington to become vice president, central operations and regional retail manager at Westsound Bank in Bremerton. During Westsound’s transition to Kitsap Bank, she worked as vice president, information security officer for the FDIC. Most recently MaryDennise worked at Seattle Bank as vice president and bank operations manager, overseeing deposit operations, administration and regulatory compliance. She is passionate about mitigating risk while ensuring exceptional customer service on all levels.

A resident of Port Orchard, she will be based at Liberty Bank’s Poulsbo branch. MaryDennise attended the Technology Career Institute in California and studied applied and professional business ethics at the University of San Diego. She recently earned her accreditation in financial crime prevention from the international Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).

Community Involvement

She supports economic empowerment in impoverished communities as a World Vision donor and has volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County and Helpline of Kitsap County food banks. She enjoys traveling, studying psychology and spending time with her husband, two daughters and their two feisty Bengal cats.
