Liberty Bank Welcomes Rob Woods as EVP & CFO

May 6, 2026

Rob Woods brings decades of banking expertise and a deep commitment to the communities he serves. In January 2026, Rob joined Liberty Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, adding another chapter to a distinguished career in community banking.

Rob spent over two decades with SaviBank, which he helped build from the ground up as part of the organizing group for Business Bank of Skagit County in 2004. When the bank received approval in 2005, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, a role he held through the bank’s growth and evolution. He also served as Secretary and Treasurer for Savi Financial Corporation.

Prior to SaviBank, Rob served as CFO for Columbia Trust Bank in Kennewick, Washington, and gained broad experience across several financial institutions, including the Federal Home Loan Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Minor in Accounting from Western Washington University in 1991, completed a two-year program at the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management at the University of South Carolina, and earned a Master of Finance from Seattle University in 2001.

Outside of banking, Rob is a longtime champion of civic and community causes. He served on the Skagit Valley College Foundation Board for six years, supporting education and opportunity in the region. A proud Rotarian since 2006, he served as Club Treasurer for eight years — a role that reflects both his financial acumen and his dedication to Rotary’s mission of service above self.
