Andy Leikin

Executive VP & Chief Credit Officer

"My credit philosophy focuses on mentoring and transparency with clients, credit analysts, and relationship managers. Finding a way to make a deal work is more rewarding than just saying ‘no,’ but also takes a much stronger banker to work through the tough issues in a collaborative manner that doesn’t jeopardize the bank’s credit quality objectives."

Andy is a pragmatic leader who relies on his experience as a Certified Public Accountant and more than 15 years’ in banking to build relationships, assess risk and oversee loans as Liberty Bank’s Chief Credit Officer. He blends analytical and qualitative data to structure, recommend and approve credit in a safe and sound manner. In his previous roles with HomeStreet Bank, Fortune Bank, First Sound Bank, and PNC Bank, Andy proved himself as a strong manager of people and processes. He has experience in commercial credit, collections, loan workouts, sales and accounting. Andy has served in several roles, including bank vice president, senior vice president, credit administrator and relationship/portfolio manager. A resident of Seattle, Andy earned his BA in accounting from Michigan State University and graduated with honors from Pacific Coast Banking School in 2018.
